September 24-25, 2024, Istanbul hosted the international grain conference Balkans & Black Sea Grain 2024, an international conference on grain trade and agrologistics, which was held in Turkey and brought together grain market participants from the Black Sea region, Europe and the Middle East.
The discussion focused- on the prospects for the export of cereals, oilseeds and vegetable oils from the Black Sea and Balkan regions, as well as the competitive situation in the global agricultural market.
Much attention was paid to the development of logistics infrastructure, issues of maritime transportation, cargo insurance and ensuring efficient export supplies of agricultural products.
The conference became a platform for discussing issues of international trade in grain and legumes, interaction with key importers from Africa and the Middle East, as well as the search for new opportunities to expand the export potential of the countries of the region.
